The Capital District DDSO is seeking bids/quotes for the above referenced project (see attached specifications). SITE VISIT DATE: N/A SITE VISIT TIME: N/A QUESTIONS DEADLINE DATE: 03/05/2025 QUESTIONS DEADLINE TIME: 2:30 PM If this bid includes work completed by a sub-contractor, the sub-contractor bid form must also be completed on page 3. In the event that modifications are needed to the Project Scope, the modifications will be distributed by the CAPITAL DISTRICT DDSO Business Office to all contractors invited and posted on NYSCR as an ADDENDA. Contractors are to prepare and submit their quotes based on the written Project Scope and any modifications made in writing through the ADDENDA. The Capital District DDSO is a tax-exempt state agency. A tax-exempt certificate will be supplied upon request. This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. NYS Department of Labor PRC # for this project is: PRC# 2025002434 To locate the web page to enter the above PRC # and obtain wages rates visit website. Under Prevailing Wage you would select "View a previously requested wage schedule" and enter the above referenced PRC # Prevailing Wages and Certified Payroll: NYS Labor Law requires that all contracted employees preforming maintenance, repairs or capital improvements in state owned buildings receive the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the occupation in which they are working. If this is a public work contract covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law or building service contract covered by Article 9 thereof, neither Contractor's employees nor employees of its subcontractors may be required or permitted to work more than the number of hours or days stated in said statutes, except as otherwise provided in the Labor Law as set forth in prevailing wage and supplement schedules issued by the State Labor Department. Full oil-fire appliance chimney cleaning including exhaust discharge piping from all oil-fired heat and hot water appliances. Exhaust piping is to be sealed after cleaning to prevent any leaks. Fireplace chimney cleaning is not required. Fireplaces are decommissioned. Perform a Level 2 chimney inspection. A Level 2 Chimney Inspection is a detailed examination typically performed under specific circumstances. It includes all the elements of a Level 1 inspection while incorporating additional checks. The assessment also evaluates the proper clearance of combustible materials, checks for obstructions, verify the chimney's efficiency, and ensures compliance with relevant safety codes and standards.
