Renovation of a retail development in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a retail development.

A. Furnish all materials, labor, tools, and equipment to complete and leave ready for operation all Plumbing systems. B. By submitting a Bid, the Contractor certifies that 1. The Contractor has visited the site and is satisfied that he/she understands all site conditions that may affect his/her Bid price, with the sole exception of those items which he/she specifically is taking exception to in writing in his/her Bid. 2. The Contractor fully understands the make-up, construction, and operation of all systems and equipment he/she is bidding on and has included in his/her price all materials, supplies, accessories, and services necessary to make these systems complete and operational, whether such materials, supplies, and services are explicitly shown on the Drawings or included in these Specifications or only implied by the clear intent of these Documents that the Contractor provide a complete and fully operational system as part of the scope of work undertaken by this Contractor. C. These General Requirements are in addition to the other requirements referenced elsewhere within these Specifications. North Market Roof Modifications QUESTIONS Questions pertaining to the drawings and specifications, IFB, and/or other contract documents must be submitted in writing only to the A/E, Korda ATTN: Gary Cope, via email [gary.cope@korda.com] prior to March 17, 2025 at 12:00 PM local time. No phone calls will be accepted. City of Columbus MBE/WBE Contract Goal: This Project has a MBE/WBE participation goal of 10% and is expressed as a percentage. This percentage defines the minimum percentage of the contracted dollar amount to be spent with City certified MBE/WBE companies performing a commercially useful function for the completion of this contract. The goal the contractor will be responsible for achieving will be confirmed or finalized as part of the bid evaluation process and will be listed in the contract. MBE/WBE prime offerors who have a documented disparity in the 2019 City of Columbus Disparity Study are eligible for the 5% proposal incentive credit. Only City of Columbus certified MBEs and/or WBEs will count toward the goal. NOTICE TO PROCEED/CONTRACT COMPLETION All work shall be substantially complete within 45 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. In the event there are mutually exclusive alternates listed on the bid sheet, the bid bond shall include the maximum value of the highest alternate(s) which increases the Bid. The bid bond amount shall be equal to or exceed ten percent (10%) of this total amount. Note that if the bidder submits a bid bond, the amount of said bond shall be expressed either as a percentage of the total bid or numerically in dollars and cents. If the contract amount is to be in excess of $100,000.00, the successful bidder will be required to secure a contract performance and payment bond in the amount of 50 - 100 percent of the contract price, including the guarantee period, in accordance with Columbus City Code Chapter 329 and the current edition of the City of Columbus Ohio Construction and Material Specifications (CMS), to assure the faithful performance of the work. BID CANCELLATIONS AND REJECTIONS The City may cancel the IFB, reject any or all bids in whole or in part, waive technicalities, and/or advertise for new bids, without liability to the City and when in the best interest of the City. The City shall have 180 calendar days from the date of the bid opening to provide the bidder a Notice of Award. During this 180 period, the bidder agrees to hold their bid prices.
