The Northwest New Mexico Regional Solid Waste Authority (NWNMRSWA) is accepting sealed bids for the removal of scrap metal/white goods from Red Rock Landfill in Thoreau, NM. Bids must be clearly marked: Sealed bid for Scrap Metal Please submit questions concerning the removal of scrap metal / white goods no later than 5:00 pm March 20, 2025. in written format by mail or by e-mail to: garry.moore@co.mckinley.nm.us all C NWNMRSWA requires all CFC containing items to be removed first. Contactor is solely responsible for removal of white goods / scrap metal. All trucks removing scrap metal from Red Rock Landfill must weigh in and out on NWNMRSWA scales. Weigh tickets will be provided to drivers and to the contractor. Payment is due within 30 days upon removal of all scrap metal white goods. Contractors must provide proof of insurance and adhere to all NWNMRSWA safety procedures and policies.
