The scope of work for CORE Aquatic Center Improvements includes, but not limited to the following: Item 1: Video-taping ofthe Competition and Leisure Pool areas and the identification of existing damages to structure and equipment prior to commencing work. Item 2: Mechanically remove and scarify the existing deck surface around the Competition Pool to remove all loose, unstable, or laminated plaster and concrete to form a new solid subsurface. Power washing of the concrete subsurface and application of a vapor barrier which will be allowed to dry per Manufactures recommendations after which a concrete basecoat and textured overlay will be installed. After basecoat has fully dried, apply two (2) coats of deck sealer. Repair and/or replace synthetic expansionsjoints damaged as a result ofwork. Item 3: Removal and disposal of decking material, and debris as a result of work around the Competition Pool. Item 4: Mechanically remove and scarify the existing deck surface around the Leisure Pool to remove all loose, unstable, concrete to form a new solid subsurface. Power washing of the concrete subsurface and application of a vapor barrier which will be allowed to dry per Manufactures recommendations after which a concrete basecoat and textured overlay will be installed. Mechanically remove and scarify the concrete stairs and landings ofthe Leisure Yellow Slide to form a new solid subsurface followed by power washing and application of a vapor barrier, After drying, install a concrete basecoat and textured overlay followed by two (2) coats of deck sealer Item 6: Removal and disposal of decking material, and debris as a result of work around the Leisure Pool and Leisure Yellow Slide stairway.
