New Mexico Junior College - will be accepting Construction Manager at Risk (CM at Risk, CMAR, CMR) qualification statements from licensed and experienced construction firms interested in providing CMAR services for the NMJC 2022-2023 Campus-Wide Construction Projects. NMJC intends to award these projects (CMAR) pursuant to the Educational Facility Construction Manager at Risk act (Section 13-1-124.1 through 13-1-124.5 NMSA 1978). The first step in the CMAR solicitation and award process is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Please note that this is an RFQ only. No additional information beyond a firm's qualification to perform as CMAR is required at this time. Interested firms may submit information on their qualifications outlined in the RFQ. New Mexico Junior College General Description: NMJC is seeking to complete the following campus-wide building and renovation projects on their campus in Hobbs, New Mexico: o Expansion of the Rodeo, Equine and Farm and Ranch programs with MACC's of: Rodeo Expansion $11,362,625.00 Ag Classroom $6,418,400 Show Barn $7,348,875 o Renovation of the John Shepherd Administration Building and any associated sitework and/or additions with a MACC of $4,371,000. o Demolition of a part or the entirety of the adjacent old Lea Regional Hospital and required reconstructive site work with a MACC of $1,392,000. The renovation, including possible additions (s) and removal(s) of the Mary Hagelstein Fine Arts Building with a MACC of $8,305,000. This includes any associated site work. o The renovation, including possible additions (s) and removal(s) of the Mansur Hall classroom Building with a MACC of $8,546,500. This includes any associated site work. o Any work identified for the Millen Drive fencing project on the campus' south side with a MACC of $526,000.
