Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newark, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Site Description According to historical records, the subject property (11007 Staddens Bridge Road) was utilized as agricultural farmland from at least the 1930s through the early 1980s. By the 1990s, a structure and parking area was constructed for a trucking company (Roberts Trucking). Sand and gravel were mined from the pond on the property. The site has not been utilized or inhabited for quite some time. Responders who have any questions regarding the RFP/Project are permitted to submit questions in writing to tami.mcadams@lickingparkdistrict.com with the subject line RFP Questions - New Public Kayak/Canoe Launch. All questions must be received by March 17, 2025 (5:00 PM, EST). All questions will be answered in writing and emailed to all Consultants who completed the Registration Form. No questions will be answered over the phone. All questions will be answered by March 19, 2025 It is anticipated that the Notice of Award will be issued in either April or May of 2025. The Licking Park District Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
