Reference Number 0000378648 Question Acceptance Deadline 03/20/2025 05:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No The work consists of installing approximately 2,000 feet of new water main to replace existing main and incorporating looping to improve the circulation of the water distribution system. The work also includes new valves and hydrants as well as connecting existing water services to the new water main, abandonment of existing water main, and surface restoration. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The successful bidder will also be required to provide performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the value of the contract. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals are applicable to the total dollars paid to the construction contract. The goals for this project are a minimum of 20.0 percent M/WBE participation by certified DBEs. The bidder shall submit completed DBE forms with the bid. Section 00800 contains the funding program construction contract requirements for M/WBE participation. Failure to comply with the requirements of this paragraph may be deemed to render a proposal nonresponsive.
