Any person, firm or corporation who submits a proposal must file with their bid a certified check, bank draft, cashiers checkor money order issued bya financial institution insured byan agency of the united statesin the amount of ten percent(10%), made payable to the treasurer of marshall county.In lieu of the above, any person, firm or corporation who submits a proposal and has a principal place of business in the state of indiana may file with their proposal a bid bond in the amount of ten percent(10%), made payable to theboard of commissioners of marshall county The proposed construction willinclude existing bridge removal,construction of a newside-by-side prestressed concrete box beam bridge with anasphalt overlay and spray-applied waterproofing membrane,limited approach roadway reconstruction; and all incidentalwork required, as more fullyspecified in the Contract Document and Plans. All proposals must be submitted on State Board of AccountsForm No. 96 together with theproper forms included in theContract Documents, the entireset of which shall be filed intactas a bid. The successful Contractor willbe required to furnish a Performance Bond and PaymentBond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each, within ten (10)days after award of the contractand a two (2) year MaintenanceBond in the amount of thirtypercent (30%) of the contractprice prior to completion and final payment of the contract.
