Renovation of a medical facility in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The work to be done consists of, in general, the redesign and interior improvements of the basement of the Brix-Mercer Buildings that was previously damaged by flooding. Interior improvements to consist of assembly of meeting rooms, office, and storage occupancies including the construction of new walls, carpeting, and painting, with upgrades to the plumbing, mechanical, fire sprinklers, and electrical systems. The work to be done is shown on a set of Plans, entitled: "Fresno County Dept. of Public Health Basement Renovation Architect's Estimate Range $8,400,000 - $9,200,000 Bid Submission Questions DesignServices@fresnocountyca.gov (559) 353-4919 or (559) 600-4543 The successful bidder shall furnish a faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Each bond specified in this Notice (bid bond, faithful performance bond and payment bond) shall meet the requirements of all applicable statutes, including but not limited to those specified in Public Contract Code section 20129 and Civil Code section 3248. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, and in the form of a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer licensed by the California Department of Insurance, cash, cashier's check or certified check shall accompany the bid. You must either attach an electronic bid bond or provide an original bid bond (or other form of bid security authorized by Public Contract Code section 20129(a)), prior to the bid opening. Bid security shall be made in favor of the County of Fresno. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
