The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for FY25 USACE Galveston District Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW), Freeport to Matagorda Bay Maintenance Dredging, Brazoria, Matagorda, and Calhoun Counties, Texas 100% UNRESTRICTED. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The scope of this contract is to perform maintenance dredging of GIWW Freeport to Matagorda reach. Schedule 1 will include GIWW maintenance dredging of approximately 1.5 million cubic yards (CY) of the Freeport to Matagorda Bay and will include varying advanced maintenance depths. Material will be placed across various upland, semi-confined and open water placement areas located along the GIWW. Dredging intersection of GIWW and Caney Creek also includes beneficial use beach placement. 1. Completion Time for Schedule No. 1 for this project is estimated at 190 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in an amount to be determined for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. 2. Bonding Requirements - The Contractor will be required to provide the Performance and Payment Bonds within 5 calendar days after award. The contractor shall begin work within 10 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. 5. Furnish pre-award documents within 2 working days after Bid Opening. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response to the solicitation. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price.
