Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Gulfport, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of Gulfport is inviting sealed bids for the Mississippi Infrastructure Modernization Act - North Gulfport Wastewater Treatment Plant New Headworks (MCWI No. 150-2-CW-5.5). This project generally consists of construction of a new wastewater treatment headworks structure and the subsequent demolition of the existing North Gulfport Wastewater Treatment Plant headworks structure. Work will include removal of paving and yard piping, grading and excavation, site work, construction of pipes, paving, construction of concrete structures, pump installation, and equipment and electrical installation. Any questions submitted after this deadline will not be entertained. Please note that only written inquiries will be accepted; telephonic inquiries will not be considered. The project will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. However, the City of Gulfport reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality. The successful bidder must adhere to the City's policy concerning non-discrimination without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or handicap. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Contractor shall adhere to all procurement requirements as per document 2 CFR 200 as a part of the project expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure (MCWI) Grant Program with anticipated American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. All bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises.
