North Orange County Community College District will receive sealed bids for the following project: Buildings 10 & 12 Roof Restoration Project at Cypress College. Contractor bidding on this project and Subcontractors performing any portion of the Work must register with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR ) and comply with the requirements of Labor Code 1725.5. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, on the form furnished with the bid documents, a list of the designated subcontractors as required by the Subletting and Subcontracting Fair Practices Act, California Public Contract Code 4100 et seq. Prevailing Wage: The Contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with California Labor Code 1720 et seq. requiring payment of general prevailing rates. Bid Security Required: 10% of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal in the form of Bid Bond, Cash, or Certified or Cashier's Check. Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount, are required, and all bonds must be issued by a California admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure $995.120. License Requirements: The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: License C-39, Roofing Contractor.
