Renovation of a multi-residential development in Medford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The work to be done under this contract consists of the following 1. Contractor and sub-contractors shall visit the site prior to commencement of work to coordinate work with the Medford Housing Authority. 2. Generator Replacement: a. Demolition of all systems (electrical, exhaust and gas) associated with existing generator. Installation of new generator (exterior) and all associated panels, transfer switch, feeders, conduit and wire as indicated on the contract documents. b. Removal of generator pad. Construction of electric closet to accommodate new electrical equipment. c. Installation of exterior concrete pad and retaining wall for new generator. 3. Factory startup and commissioning of new heating systems and applicable controls. 4. Contractor shall final clean each work area upon completion and acceptance to the standards and specifications of Medford Housing Authority. 5. All work shall be installed in strict conformance with all applicable code requirements and manufacturers written installation instructions. Generator Replacement at (AMP-3) Weldon Gardens located at 35 Bradlee Road, in Medford, Massachusetts The Project consists of but not limited to: Demo and Disposal of an existing interior generator on ground level of building. Installation of new generator to be located on the exterior of the building. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 12/03/2025 at 12:00PM EDT for general bids. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the MEDFORD HOUSING AUTHORITY. The Medford Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, whole or in part, to waive formalities or irregularities in the bids, and make awards deemed in the best interest of the MHA and the public.
