construction of a new solid waste collection site. Project Description 1. Construction of three (3) temporary construction exits for vehicles to enter and exit the property during construction operations. 2. Installation of erosion prevention and sediment control devices (EPSC) as shown on the engineer's plan. 3. Grading the site to the lines, grades, and contours shown on the engineer's plans. 4. Construction of a paved asphalt entrance from Highway 66 onto the site from the plans and the specification of the Tennessee Department of Transportation. 5. Construction of an exit driveway from the site to Old Highway 66 (County Road) to the plans and specifications. 6. Compacting the soil subgrade to the satisfaction of the engineer prior to placement of the surface stone. Optional soil testing will be by soil consultant outside of this contract. 7. Placement of the surface stone (6" layer of compacted base stone, "pug mix + lime"). 8. Topsoil, seed, and straw all bare soil areas. Unused stored topsoil is the property of County of Hawkins, TN. 9. Replace any signs removed for construction. 10. Conduct bi-weekly inspections and document as required by Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). 11. Maintain all erosion prevention and sediment control (EPSC) devices during construction operations. 12. Remove EPSC when directed to do so by the engineer
