The County is seeking a turnkey wireless solution for the Ocean Center that includes system design, hardware and software installation, and low-voltage cabling. The awarded Contractor shall be responsible for replacing core fiber infrastructure, providing coverage across the facility, and ensuring scalability for future growth. Any delays from the dates contained in the Agreement issued to the awarded Respondent shall inconvenience the Public and result in monetary losses and damages to the County. The losses and damages shall be difficult to determine. In the event that the deliverables are not provided by the date set in the resulting Agreement, there shall be deducted, as agreed, fixed liquidated damages from the Agreement price being paid by the County of Volusia. This computed sum shall be One thousand Dollars ($1,000) per day, including Saturdays and Sundays. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this Solicitation, or to negotiate separately with competing Respondents, and to waive any informalities, defects, or irregularities in any proposal, or to accept that proposal or proposals, which in the judgment of the proper officials, is in the best interest of the County.
