Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aurora, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Reference Number 0000378954 Work performed under this contract entails removal and replacement of various concrete structural assets. Work necessary for accomplishment under this contract includes but is not limited to; removal and replacement of concrete panels, vertical curb/gutters, sidewalks, pans, chase drains, and ADA ramps, partial depth concrete repairs, and over excavation with placement of road base. Work is only payable by the completion of Bid Items. All other work needed to place Bid Items or repair damage resulting from construction operations is incidental and not payable. Incidental work includes but is not limited to: subgrade preparation, backfill, sprinkler repairs, and landscape restoration as well as manhole, valve box, and other utility adjustments. Project locations are subject to change. All work within this contract shall be completed per Special Provisions and the current 2025 City of Aurora Roadway Design and Specifications Manual, from here on referred to as "the Specifications Manual". The project is subject to new editions of the Specifications Manual being posted during construction. Changes in specifications will not apply to work that has been accepted or is in progress. Work not specifically called for, but necessary to perform the contract work will be considered incidental to the contract whether specifically detailed or not. The Contract Documents require that all work be completed by August 22, 2025, after issuance of notice to proceed. Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $1,000.00 per day. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Original bid bond does not have to be delivered to the City; however, each bidder should maintain the original on file should the City request it at a later time. The estimated cost for this project ranges from $2,573,863.80 to $2,859,848.66. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, and to accept that bid which is considered to be in the best interest of the City.
