Renovation of a stadium in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

Replace the existing inoperable Enercon 7.5 ton water source heat-pump in the kitchen of the Tacoma dome with a new water source heat-pump in equal size and cooling and heating capacity o Voltage 480 3-Phase o Install power from unit to existing disconnect (under 10ft) o Must be a water source heat-pump. o Mount in same location in the plenum space secured from the ceiling and above the T-grid. o If needed Install metal duct transition to connect supply side to existing ductwork o New unit must meet or exceed the current heap-pumps heating and cooling capacity. o Connect new unit into existing water supply and return lines (1 1/2 ''). o Connect new unit into existing drain line. o Replace supply and return water shut off valves (1 1/2 '') o Properly dispose of heat-pump being replaced. o Replace and reinstall any of the existing buildings structures that had to be removed to install the new heat-pump. o Install new T-State connected to new heat-pump in the kitchen area. Each bid for construction must be accompanied either by a certified or cashier's check for 5 percent of the total amount bid, including tax, payable to the City Treasurer, or an approved bid bond, by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Washington, for 5 percent of the total amount bid. The person legally authorized to sign the bid must sign all bid bonds. The approved bid bond form attached to these Specifications should be used: no substantial variations from the language thereof will be accepted. Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. City of Tacoma reserves the right to review insurance requirements during any term of the Contract and to require that Contractor make reasonable adjustments when the scope of services changes. If federal, state, local, or any applicable law requires Supplier to pay prevailing wages in connection with a Contract, and Supplier is so notified by the City, then Supplier shall pay applicable prevailing wages. Except as modified by the Special Provisions, the Respondent to whom the Contract is awarded shall provide a payment and performance bond, including power of attorney, for 100 percent of the amount of his/her bid (including sales taxes), to insure complete performance of the Contract including the guarantee. The bonds must be executed by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Washington. For a supply-type contract, a cashier's check or cash may be substituted for the bonds; however, this cash or cashier's check must remain with the City through the guarantee period and any interest on said amount shall accrue to the Cit Question Deadline 04/02/2025 Anticipated Award Date 5/23/2025
