Road Rehabilitation. Question Deadline 03/12/2025 at 4:30 PM ET Questions, requests for information or interpretations concerning the drawings or specifications, or any aspect of the project must be addressed in writing to the Director of Purchasing, Town of Huntington, Town Hall, 100 Main Street, Room 209, Huntington, New York 11743, or email at purchasing@huntingtonny.gov or Fax # (631) 351-2833. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check of the Bidder payable to the Town of Huntington in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the TOTAL BID PRICE. Checks or bid bonds will be returned to all except to the three lowest formal bidders within ten (10) days after the formal opening of bids. The successful bidder shall furnish the OWNER at the time of signing the Contract the following bonds: (a) Faithful Performance Bond - (See Page 42) (b) Labor and Material Bond - (See Page 42) Upon completion of the work, a Maintenance Bond shall be furnished to the OWNER. The right is reserved by the Town to waive any informalities in, to reject any or all bids submitted, or to accept the bid and award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible formal Bidder, in the best interests of the Town, pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law.
