Renovation of a water / sewer project in Huntington, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the following: Removal of the Existing Pier and Construction of a New Pier With New Greenheart Piles, Support Beams, Stringers, Railing and an Open-Grate Deck. Bids for this contract shall be submitted separate sealed envelope with the name of the contract clearly noted on the outside of the envelope. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. Awards will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder in conjunction with Section A4-14 of the Suffolk County Administrative Code establishing an optional ten percent (10%) local (Nassau/ Suffolk) preference program for Suffolk County contracts. The Commissioner of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
