Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Union City, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Question Deadline 02/05/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project includes improvements to Heritage Park and Riverview Park with the construction of approximately 6,1400 sft of sidewalk, 870 sft of exposed aggregate sidewalk, water service extension, drain line, two observation decks overlooking the St. Joseph River, concrete retaining wall and cultured stone, boardwalk surfacing, aggregate pad for access to the river, tree planting, and restoration. The project includes the construction of a 170-foot pedestrian bridge, connecting elevated deck structure, sidewalk, concrete steps with railings, and concrete ramp with railings. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The Village of Union City reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Union City.
