As of March 25, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 15, 2025. This project includes the resurfacing ofWalker Road located Na-Au-Say Township. Specifically, a section ofthe road from Grove Road heading West to Brisbin Road.Specific improvements include HMA Surface Removal-Butt Joints on the road and resurfacing with 2" of HMA Surface Course, IL 9.5, Mix "D", N50. Additional work includes the placement of Aggregate Shoulders, Type B as well as Modified Urethane Pavement Markings - Line 4" on Walker Road after it has been paved. City/County Kendall Perform Hma Resurfacing (0.75 Miles). Major Material Quantities Include: Hma Surface Course - 1,120 Tons Agg Shlder Ty B - 250 Tons Mod Ureth Pvmt Mrkg Line 4" - 11,400 Ft. Free Bid Docs May Be Obtained via Email. Projects and Plans (if Applicable), Can Be Viewed at Online Prequals Must Be Emailed to Mriley@kendallcountyil.gov Prior to Obtaining Bid Docs. Paper Copies Of Plans (if Applicable) Are $25.00 Each, and Proposals Are $10.00 Each, Non-refundable. Project Location: Walker Road From Grove to Brisbin Proposals requiring prequalification of bidders will be issued only to those contractors who are qualified with the Department of Transportation.
