The City of Waterloo is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: City of Waterloo - Hendricks Street Reconstruction The Project includes the following Work: Street and Utility Reconstruction of Hendricks Street The principal items for which proposals are invited are: 1,930 LF Sanitary Sewer Mains and Laterals, 6-Inch to 24-Inch PVC 1,400 LF Water Mains, 8-Inch DI 200 LF Water Service Pipes, 1-Inch Copper 2,050 LF Storm Sewer Main, 12- Inch to 36-Inch RCP 5,200 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter, 30-Inch 16,800 SF Concrete Sidewalk, Carriage 4-Inch to 6-Inch 6,200 TN Aggregate Base Dense, 3-Inch to 1-1/4-Inch 3,000 TN Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement 4,400 SY Landscape Restoration Reproduction of Bid Documents will not be accepted from Bidders. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than online or Kunkel Engineering Group. Instructions to Bidders A portion of this project is funded by the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) and the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Utilities Service. Bid Bond Bids shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Waterloo in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and the Insurance Certificate(s), as required by the Contract Documents, within 15 days after the Notice of Award of the Contract by the City of Waterloo. Failure on the part of the Bidder to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's Certified Check or Bid Bond to the City of Waterloo as liquidated damages. The City of Waterloo reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
