Renovation of a water / sewer project in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The project contemplated consists of replacement of two centrifugal basin drain pumps (basin drain pump 1 and basin drain pump 2) and associated equipment. The equipment is located within the Sludge Thickener Building (Building 358) of the South Shore Water Reclamation Facility Project Owner Number: S06049C03 Remove and dispose of basin drain pump 1 and basin drain pump 2. Remove and dispose of the pump motors and baseplates. Remove and dispose of the 6-inch plug valve on the suction side of the pumps, 4-inch plug valve on the discharge side of the pumps and 4-inch check valve on the discharge side of the pumps. Remove the basin drain pump reinforced concrete equipment pads. Furnish and install new 6-inch plug valves on the suction side of each pump, new 4-inch plug valve on the discharge side of each pump, and new 4-inch check valves on the discharge side of each pump. Form and place new reinforced concrete equipment pads in the location of basin drain pumps 1 and 2. Furnish and install two new pump baseplates. Epoxy coat the new baseplates prior to installing the new pump equipment. Furnish and install two new basin drain pumps, flexible couplings, and electrical motors on the new baseplates. Furnish and install new stainless steel seal water and pump volute vent drain lines. Connect, align, and balance the new motors and pumps. Connect pump motors to existing power feed including installation of new on/off switches and flexible non-metallic electrical conduits. Complete a Functional Acceptance Test (FAT) for each of the new pumps and valves. Complete all other work described in the Specifications and as necessary to complete the project.
