Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Southgate, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of May 21, 2025, the project was awarded to Royal Cement, with an awarded amount of $176,919.40.** The proposed project consists of constructing an eight foot wide pathway of asphalt or concrete, re-grading approximately 750 lineal feet of an existing roadside ditch, the removing existing culverts, installing a culvert with end sections and rip-rap and paving the Park entrance with concrete in accordance with Wayne County Standards. The project will also include soil erosion control measures and restoration. The project anticipated start date is April 7, 2025 and shall be substantially completed by May 30, 2025. Question Deadline 03/24/2025 All questions shall be directed to John M. Miller, Project/Construction Manager by email at jmmiller@hengineers.com All questions must be submitted five (5) business days prior to Tuesday, March 11, 2025 Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 90 days after the date of bid opened
