Contract W District-Wide Well and Well Pump Maintenance and Repair The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interests of the Owner. Service, repair, testing and maintenance of well and pumping equipment including large electric motors and gear drives at the locations listed in Appendix B and in accordance with all prevailing safety and labor regulations. Work will be performed on an as needed basis when authorized by the Water District in writing. Emergency service (response in 6 hours or less) shall be provided to the Water District on a request basis. Notification from the Water District will be via phone call (for emergency work) and an email transmission of the work order for the service requested. A copy of the work order form is included in Appendix A. Your company will be required to maintain the proper bonds and insurances as specified herein. Guarantee workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year upon completion of the work on equipment repairs / replacement. 1. Work and materials authorized by the District, shall conform to the Detailed Specifications. 2. The Contractor shall have sufficient qualified personnel and equipment to provide emergency service within six (6) hours of notification. These services shall not be subcontracted out. 3. Scheduled installation must be completed in a timely fashion. 4. Contractor shall be required to provide written notification on the number of hours worked and a description of the work within 24 hours of providing service. Failure to provide this written account may subject the Contractor to not being reimbursed for a portion or all of the claimed effort. 5. Routine and emergency service is expected to center around, but not be limited to, the installation and the repair of the District's water supply wells and pumps and large motors on plant sites. 6. The Contractor shall abide with the terms of the District's Energy Control -Lock Out/Tag Out Program, and the Contractor's own Energy Control - Lock Out /Tag Out Program and all other provisions of the governing law in order to protect its own employees as well as those of the District. 7. Invoices submitted to the District for payment must be itemized to show hourly labor rate, total labor hours, and material charges. When any single item of material costs in excess of $500.00, the Contractor must include a copy of the Contractor's original material invoice. An additional 15% of this cost for handling, profit, and overhead may be added to that item's cost. Invoice payment will not be made without this information. 8. Contractor shall comply with all OSHA regulations relative to safe operations for his work.
