Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
New addition tying into the East side of the existing Mitchell Cancer Institute, housing an Elekta linear accelerator. The new addition includes a heavily reinforced concrete vault encompassing the linear accelerator, outfitted with radiation shielding equipment and requirements. In addition to the vault, the build includes: new restrooms, exam rooms, nursing stations, work rooms, tech rooms and storage rooms constructed of metal framing and sheetrock. The building exterior is consisted of color match pre-cast. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
