Renovation of a detention facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The general scope is as follows: Replace chillers and associated pumps;Replace boilers and associated pumps; Replace eight (8) air handling units; Replacetwo (2) smoke exhaust fans that are associated with the AHU 7 & 8; Replace smokeexhaust fans SEF 1 - 6; Replace 16 VAV terminal units associated with AHU 7 & 8;Replace exhaust fans that are in the dorm area, the mechanical room, & electricalroom;Replace the five (5) unit heaters that are in the associated work areas;Replace the DDC control system in all new equipment; Clean ductwork associated withair handling units 1 - 8; Deduct Alternate No. 1 - Replace 11 VAV terminal unitsassociated with RAH-1 and RAH-2. WakeCounty reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities andirregularities
