Question Deadline 03/13/2025 at 3:00 PM MT The NDDEQ is soliciting bids for asbestos removal and proper disposal at the former Selfridge Elementary School Scope of Work below. See Building Maps in Attachment 4 for location details. 1. Interior Asbestos Containing Pipe Insulation Removal and proper disposal of approximately 48 lineal feet of friable gray/white open-cell asbestos containing pipe insulation located in the furnace room. 2. Interior Asbestos Containing 9”x9” Floor Tile and Associated Mastic Removal and proper disposal of approximately 4,118 square feet of non-friable asbestos containing 9”x9” floor tile and associated mastic located throughout the building. Approximately 1,392 square feet of this 9”x9” asbestos containing floor tile is located under 12”x12” non-asbestos floor tile in the SE and SW rooms. 3. Interior Asbestos Containing Thermal Transite Board Removal and proper disposal of approximately 684 square feet of non-friable asbestos containing thermal transite board located in furnace vents behind 3-foot tall built-in bookshelves on the exterior walls of the SW, SE, NW, NE, Teachers Lounge, and Office rooms. 4. Interior Asbestos Containing Baseboard Glue Removal and proper disposal of approximately 944 lineal feet of plastic baseboard with associated non-friable asbestos containing glue located throughout the building. 5. Interior Asbestos Containing Chalkboard Removal and proper disposal of one non-friable asbestos containing chalkboard (6.5’x4’) located on the North wall of the Office room. The abatement must be completed, and all paperwork submitted to the NDDEQ by September 30, 2025. Final air clearance will be provided by a third-party Contractor hired by the NDDEQ.
