Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Thamesford, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade, 479-seat educational facility; and 88-seat day care center.
Construction of a JK-Grade 4 elementary school and childcare centre. An additional gym and fields for community space will also be incorporated into the building. TIMELINE: Project is in conceptual design; square footage is unconfirmed at this time. Additional funding for site acquisition was recently announced by the provincial government. The School Board has partnered with the Township for the addition of a community centre space to be primarily funded by the Township. Geotechnical and site investigations are ongoing. Proper to tendering, the developer of the adjacent subdivision must complete site servicing up to the school site. Further update may be confirmed fall 2026.
