The work consists of the supply of all labour, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the paving work shown or described by or reasonably inferred from the contract documents. The work includes paving approximately 3,000 meters of Township of Zorra roads known as Road 92, starting approximately 130 meters west of the 25th Line to the 19th Line. These road sections will have received a full depth pulverization, graded and compacted at 2% slope by the Township. Application of 50 mm of HL8 compacted base coat asphalt (PGAC 58-28, min. 4.8% asphalt cement content, no recycled asphalt permitted) and a 50 mm top coat of HL4 (min. 5.2% asphalt cement content, no recycled asphalt permitted). Included in asphalt pricing: placing 50 mm compacted HL8 base coat (approx. 1,200 tonnes), 50 mm compacted HL4 top coat (approx. 1,200 tonnes), 7-meter-wide platform, tack coat prior to topcoat, 300 mm bump-out at 13 entrances for break-off protection, use of Material Transfer Vehicle, cutting/tack coat edge treatment at tie-ins, water and compacting as needed, and road closure to non-residential traffic. Paving of approximately 900 meters of the 25th Line from Road 60 to Hamilton Road, after full depth pulverization, graded and compacted at 2% slope. Coordination with CN Rail for paving within Rail Right-of-Way is required. Application of 50 mm HL8 base coat (PGAC 58-28, min. 4.8%) and 50 mm HL4 top coat (min. 5.2%), both with no recycled asphalt. Pricing includes placing 50 mm compacted HL8 base coat and HL4 top coat (approx. 2,700 tonnes each), 7-meter-wide platform, tack coat prior to topcoat, 300 mm bump-outs at 6 entrances, use of Material Transfer Vehicle, water/compacting, and closure to non-residential traffic. Instructions to bidders include requirements for online submission, completion of all form items, furnishing all materials and labor except where stated otherwise, and compliance with all contract documents, drawings, and specifications. Bids must be accompanied by a digital deposit and performance and labour/material bonds.
