New construction of a mixed-use development in Thamesford, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade, 479-seat educational facility; and 88-seat day care center.
Construction of a JK-Grade 4 elementary school and childcare centre for 479 students + daycare facility for 88 spaces. Project also includes enlarged gymnasium that will create an additional shared recreation space for the community. TIMELINE: Conceptual designs are ongoing. Square footage has yet to be confirmed. Geotechnical and site investigations are ongoing. Estimated completion: 2028-29 school year. Further update early 2027. *Provincial funding has been secured in the amount of 23.5 million. *Project also includes funding from Zorra Township for an enlarged gymnasium that will create an additional shared recreation space for the community.
