The original solicitation follows below. _______________________________________________________________________________ Summary: Huntertown proposes improvements at its Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at 2214 Hathaway Road. Improvements consist of influent collection box modifications, added oxidation ditch aeration equipment, additional final clarification (two new clarifier units), aerated sludge holding tanks & equipment, preliminary treatment odor control system, UV disinfection improvements, an equipment storage building, emergency power improvements, other control equipment and accessories, site and utility improvements, erosion control, and surface restoration. All qualified Contractors are invited to bid the work. Bids shall be accompanied by a bidder s bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid amount. Bids arriving after the time set will be returned unopened and only complete bids with all required materials will be considered. The Town of Huntertown, Indiana reserves the right to reject all bids, waive defects and amend the Projects scope. It is anticipated that the Huntertown Utility Service Board will take bids received under advisement and that a determination may be made at the next Utility Service Board meeting.
