NOTICE is hereby given by the Board of Public Works of the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, that sealed Bids for: Cloverfield and Meadowsweet Neighborhood Water Main Extension CONTRACT/RESOLUTION NUMBER 67435 The funding source for this project is American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), WATER REVENUE. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, Cloverfield and Meadowsweet Neighborhood Water Main Extension as follows: Installation of 395' of 2", 445' of 6", and 1,340' of 8" HDPE pipe by horizontal directional drilling including hydrants, valves, services, and all other appurtenances. all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by City Utilities Engineering, Engineering Department, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. Project bid documents must be downloaded from website which will add your company to the Planholder List and allow access to vBid online bidding for the submittal of your bid (which is required for this project). No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders.
