THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO invites prequalified General Contractors to bid on the project/projects referenced below. Bids must be submitted on the forms issued as part of the Bidding Documents. Bidding Contractors are required to be pre-qualified with the Chicago Public Schools for this project. The form of agreement for the work will be the General Contracting Services Agreement. This contract is subject to all of the terms and conditions of the General Contracting Services Agreement between the Board and General Contractor dated as of January 1, 2022. FACILITY/PROJECT: Audubon Elementary School STREET ADDRESS: 3500 N. Hoyne Ave., Chicago, IL 60618 NETWORK: # 4 TYPE OF WORK: Renovation of the Cafeteria. CONTRACT PERIOD: Contractor to Achieve Preliminary Acceptance By: August 8, 2025 PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BOND: 100% of the Base Contract Price A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid price is required. Printed copies/sets of the Bidding Documents will not be provided by the Architect of Record to any Bidding Contractor. All Contractor Requests for Clarifications shall be issued to the Architect of Record by no later than five (5) working days before the Bid due date.
