Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid amount will be uploaded with this Proposal and the undersigned agrees that should he, after notice of award of contract, fail to execute the Contract as aforesaid, that his Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond accompanying this Proposal shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damage caused by such failure. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Montgomery County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce.
