Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bolivia, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The new facility will be constructed in the area north of the existing Animal Protective Services building located at 429 Green Swamp Road, Supply, NC 28462. The project consists of a new facility (estimated at 10,000 square feet) to meet the needs of the Brunswick County Sheriffs Office Animal Protective Services Division. The project will also include parking lot, pedestrian, driveway, and access improvements necessary to serve both new and existing facilities. In addition to the foregoing, the selected design-build team will be required to provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract amount prior to construction. It is the intent of the County to have the Project complete in late 2026 Execute Design-Build Agreement & Notice to Proceed (NTP) (up to 2 months from Selection - including BOC approval) May 19, 2025 60% Design Complete with GMP (180 days from NTP) November 14, 2025 Construction Complete (365 days from 60% design completion) November 14, 2026 Questions: Any questions or requests for further information should be submitted by email prior to Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. ET to BCSO-RFP@brunswickncsheriff.gov.
