Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jacksonville, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of September 9, 2025, the project in the final stages of planning review. The project will be bid openly to general contractors and the letting date is December 3, 2025. Construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2026 and be completed in late 2028. This project proposes improvements on Mayport Road (State Road A1A) from Atlantic Boulevard (State Road 10) to Dutton Island Road West to increase safety for motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, children and other vulnerable users of the corridor. FDOT proposes the following improvements: • Milling and resurfacing from Atlantic Boulevard to Dutton Island Road West • Upgraded signalized intersection improvements • Lane repurposing • Addition of a southbound bike lane • Sidewalk widening northbound
