The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) is soliciting bids from companies to supply Ferric Sulfate to the Algiers Water Plant and Carrollton Water Plant. Inquiries and/or Requests for Information are due to the Board's Procurement Department via email to kbarnes@swbno.org. Bidders Written Questions Deadline March 11, 2025 4:00 p.m. Responses to Questions March 17, 2025 Length of Contract Term The unit prices shall cover the requirements of the Board for a period of one (1) year, with four (4) one-year renewal options. If requested by the Contractor and approved by the Board. Contract Renewal Option Between ninety (90) and one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the end of the initial contract period, the Contractor shall submit in writing to the Board (to the address specified in Paragraph 1, herein) stating their intent to renew (or not to renew) the contract with all terms, conditions, and prices of the original contract. Upon receiving and evaluating any proposals for contract renewal, the Board will have the option to accept this proposal for the additional renewal term(s), or to reject this proposal and open the contract for public bid if doing so would be in the best interest of the Board. The Contract may be awarded to a single bidder or to separate bidders whichever should appear to the best interest of the Board. If two or more bids are received, equal in amount and lower than any other bid, the Board reserves the right to evaluate the bids and to decide which bid will be accepted. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals for just cause. Awards The Board specifically reserves the right to evaluate bids and award items separately, grouped or an all or none basis, and to accept the bid, which is in the best interest of the Board, and to reject all proposals if that is in the best interest of the Board.
