The project is awarded to Centralpack Engineering with an awarded of $ 938,000.00 Bids shall be submitted on the provide proposal forms and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check of bid bond draw to the order of the "Cresskill Board of Education" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law. General Scope: The work includes removal of the existing chiller and installation of new chiller. The work in general includes but is not limited to the following: 2. Project Description: Project name is the Chiller Replacement At: Merritt Memorial School, 1 Dogwood Lane, Cresskill, NJ and further identified as Di Cara | Rubino Project No. 4347 on the Contract Documents prepared by Di Cara | Rubino Architects. 1. Project Desciption: Project name is the Chiller Replacement At: Edward H. Bryan School, 51 Brookside Avenue, Cresskill, NJ and further identified as Di Cara | Rubino Project No. 4346 on the Contract Documents prepared by Di Cara | Rubino Architects. Should any error, omissions, inconsistencies, or obscure wording appear or occur in the Drawings and Specifications, or should there be any discrepancies between Drawings and Specifications, the Bidder shall, before submitting its bid, apply to the Architect in writing for an interpretation and determination of the intent of the Drawings and Specifications. Request received by the Architect later than April 2,2025 may not be considered. In the event the Bidder fails to indicate that its bid is based upon an alternate or equivalent product or equipment, it will be presumed and required that the brand name goods and services as described in the specifications will be provided. Bidder may also indicate whether it will provide the specified products if its claim of equivalency is rejected. All goods and services must be constructed and provided with the highest quality materials and workmanship. It is the intent of these specifications that only equipment equal to, or exceeding, the standard specified will be acceptable in order to protect the safety of the students of the School Board. The Bidder submits sufficient information with its bid to permit the Board to determine that the goods are equivalent to the brand name goods specified herein, including, but not necessarily limited to the brand, catalog number and specifications/data sheets; The Bidder fully identifies and describes the variations of the goods from the brand name goods specified herein on a separate sheet that is to be submitted with the bid proposal. Bidder's literature WILL NOT suffice in explaining exceptions to these specifications; The Bidder certifies that the goods (i) are similar in substance to the brand name goods specified, and (ii) are suited to the same use as the item specified; Interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written Addenda, Bulletins, or Clarifications to the Specifications, which if issued, will be mailed by certified or registered mail with return receipt requested, or sent by facsimile to all bidders ofrecord, not later than seven (7) days prior to the date ofthe Bid Opening, Holidays and Weekends excepted or sent by a delivery service that provides certification of delivery within such timeframe
