CR Number: 2119651 This project is for the design of the rehabilitation of the terminal access road from North Raquette River Road to the Terminal Building parking loop (approximately 1500 LF of access road, approximately 22 feet wide). The rehabilitation will consist of a 3" mill and overlay, with isolated areas of full dept reconstruction. Also included with the project would be any required fine grading, pavement marking, signage, and turf restoration. Hardcopy proposals must be sent to the Town Clerk's Office at the address above. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum proposal price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. This Contract does not allow for price escalation in unit bid items. The Contractor shall take this into consideration when preparing unit prices for bidding. After award, the low bidder shall be prepared to hold bid prices for anticipated start of construction expected as late as May 2026, weather dependent. The execution of the construction Contract is dependent upon the receipt of an FAA grant offer and is expected no earlier than September 2025. The deadline for submitting questions concerning this project is March 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal, and to reject any and all proposals.
