The Board of Commissioners of the County of Decatur,(Owner) on behalf of Decatur County, Indiana (County), makes this request for sealed proposals (RFP), in accord with Indiana Code 5-22-9-5, for the furnishing and delivering of the following listed materials as part of the County's 2025 Annual Materials Requisition For Major Supplies and Services Major Supplies and Services for the Decatur County Highway Department for the Year April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. These major supplies and services include the following: BID ITEM # 1..Aggregate Limestone, Gravel, and Sand BID ITEM # 2 Bituminous Mixtures BID ITEM # 3..Drainage Structures a. Corrugated Metal Pipe and fittings b. Aluminium Box Culverts, Structure plate Pipe, and Aches c. Precast Concrete Boxes and Arches d. Polyethylene Pipe and Fittings Bids received after the advertised deadline will be returned unopened. Bids received by facsimile machine will not be accepted. All such requirements are hereby incorporated into this notice by reference. For each item above, Owner will award the proposal that in its judgment is the most advantageous to the County. Generally, this will correspond to the proposal that offers lowest price among competing responsible, responsive Offerors. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities or irregularities therein, to delete any item, and to make award to multiple Bidders for a given item. Award of a proposal is subject to all further contract negotiations. Each Bid Item must be submitted with a separate bid Form #95, submitted in duplicate, and enclosed in separate envelopes marked with the Bid Item number and the return address of the bidder on the outside. If any separate Bid Item is estimated to exceed two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000), it shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check (if applicable) in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total bid payable to the Decatur County Treasurer. The Decatur County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids. By submitting a proposal, Bidders indicates that it has read and understood all the terms of the RFP and agrees to bind's itself thereto.
