It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to establish a contract for the Refurbishment of the Gymnasium Floors at Linton Springs Elementary School, 375 Ronsdale Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784 and Mechanicsville Elementary School, 3838 Sykesville Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, insurance, and services required to accomplish the refurbishment of the gymnasium floor all in accordance with the provisions of this Invitation to Bid and as outlined in the enclosed specifications. Mike Myers, Supervisor of Purchasing, will administer the solicitation process, Questions and inquiries should be directed to his attention at mbmyers@carrollk12.org. All questions must be received no later than March 21, 2025, 4:00 p.m., local time. Bids received after that date and time will not be considered. A mandatory duplicate hard copy is to be received no later than April 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Failure to deliver a hard copy of the price proposal within the allotted time frame may result in the rejection of a bidder's bid submission, even if the original price submittal was received on time. The BOECC further reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part thereof, and to waive informalities of any bids as deemed to be in the best interest of the school system. Notification of award will be issued to the successful bidder on or about April 10, 2025.
