The Manatee County Utilities Department provides water services to over 440,000 residents in unincorporated Manatee County. The Utilities Department oversees the Fire Line Backflow prevention assembling testing for all County facilities. The County is requesting quotes from qualified suppliers for the provision of Fire Line Backflow Preventer Services on an as-required basis to various locations within Manatee County. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE MANATEE COUNTY STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids/proposals, to waive irregularies and technicalities, and to request resubmission. Also, the County reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid/proposal and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the County.
