Site work for a road / highway in Gananoque, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Gananoque is seeking Tender submissions from qualified respondents for Crack Sealing and Routing Services, on approximately 1.5km of roadway within the Town of Gananoque. The selected respondent will be responsible for routing, cleaning and sealing cracks in hot mix asphalt on various roads within the Town of Gananoque. This includes all materials, equipment, labor, and all related items necessary to complete the work. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Rout delineated cracks by approved mechanical means in a single pass to a uniform width of 30-35mm and depth of 5-8mm. 2. Routed groves are to be blown clean with a heated air lance. 3. Apply sealant in accordance with OPSS/OPDS. 4. The sealing compound is to be struck off with the use of a squeegee to produce a bonding band of not less than 25mm on each side of the grove flush to the existing surface. 5. Dust seals with an appropriate material to remove surface tackiness before opening to traffic. HEALTH AND SAFETY The successful bidder shall submit their Health and Safety Plan to The Town prior to commencement of the Work.
