Ascension Parish Government hereby issues a Request for Proposal (RFP) for professional services in maintaining the Parish’s fleet of generators The selected firm(s) will perform services in support of the Parish as required to maintain their fleet of backup power generators, required during storm events and power outages. Tasks associated with the contract include but are not limited to scheduled service, repairs, testing and most importantly a call-out response in case of a failure with a piece of equipment must be in a timely fashion. All questions regarding the RFP shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via email at purchasing@apgov.us by 3:00 p.m. local time (CST) on February 25, 2025. Responses will be coordinated with the Project Coordinator and posted on the online by 3:00 p.m. local time (CST) no later than March 5, 2025. The period of any contract resulting from this RFP is tentatively scheduled to begin following conclusion of Parish’s evaluation, selection & negotiation of a contract, and shall be valid for a period of two years, with the option of two (2), one-year renewals after the original 2-year period ends, not to exceed a total of four (4) years.
