The Covina-Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) installation of owner-provided MUSCO sports light poles and fixtures at the South Hills High School Softball and Baseball fields, including associated electrical and site work. All work shall be performed in accordance with DSA-approved documents. Most of the disruptive work including erecting the poles and boring and trenching shall be completed prior to the beginning of the school year to limit the disruption to the school. Students return to school on August 18th, 2025. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: A, B, C-10. Contractors holding a B license must bid pursuant to Business and Professions Code (BPC) section 7057. 463.542 Commissioning is a designed quality-focused process for evaluating and documenting that the performance of facilities, systems and assemblies meets the Owner's acceptance criteria, as documented in the approved Owner's Project Requirements and Construction Documents. The Design Team, General Contractor and installation subcontractors provide the quality control for the design, installation and start-up of the building systems. The commissioning process provides a level of confidence that the quality control efforts of the designers and contractors are successfully completed through independent review and objective functional testing of systems. B. Commissioning includes the completion of a formal commissioning process on the equipment and systems within the Commissioning Scope of Work, as specified within this Section 019113. Commissioning is performed by the Commissioning Team under the leadership of the Commissioning Provider (CxP) [also formerly termed Commissioning Authority (CxA)]. The entire Commissioning Team (see Definition of Terms in this Section 019113) is responsible for performing the process and achieving successful commissioning results. The CxP is from a totally independent firm under contract directly with the Owner and is not contractually or financially associated with the Design Team or any contractor performing work on this project.
