Project Location: Del Norte County Veteran Cemetery located at 400 E Cooper Avenue, Crescent County, California, Del Norte County. The proposed project involves the installation of an additional irrigation system at the Del Norte County Veteran Cemetery in accordance with the map and layout attached as Exhibit A. This system will allow for the preservation of the expanded cemetery location landscape by providing consistent and reliable watering to the grounds, enhancing the aesthetic appeal in order to honor the memory of the veterans laid to rest there. The successful Bidder shall be required to execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond for not less than one hundred percent of the construction price, issued by an Admitted Surety, an insurance organization authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact business of insurance in the State of California during the 2025 calendar year. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's check or certified check, made payable to the County, or bid bond using the form included in the Contract Documents and executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California. The bid security must guarantee that, within ten days after issuance of the Notice of Potential Award, the bidder will: execute and submit the enclosed Contract for the bid price; submit payment and performance bonds for one hundred percent of the maximum Contract Price; and submit the insurance certificates and endorsements and any other submittals, if any, required by the Contract Documents or the Notice of Potential Award.
