Site work for a water / sewer project in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Aurora Invites you to bid on the anticipated services of installing irrigation to 5 contiguous planting beds in the Downtown Aurora area. Installation and an operable system to be completed no later than May 15, 2025. Question Submission Deadline: March 14, 2025, 12:00pm. Install irrigation to 5 contiguous planting beds on the south side of Downer Place and Stolp Ave (5 E. Downer Place). Boring connection under Stolp Ave and piping between beds are already complete. See attached map. The system shall be Hunter Pro suitable for outdoor installation (or with weatherproof enclosure) sized appropriately for each planting bed The system shall be installed with an RPZ controller The city will provide the meter Hunter PGV valves Hunter spray heads A suitable enclosure to hide/house the equipment – should be lockable to avoid tampering Mainline shall be pvc, laterals in poly piping Controller must be capable of being battery operated The system must also have the capacity and ability to be extended south to the intersection of Benton and Stolp in the future to provide water to landscape beds as a part of a separate project Storm Sewer inlets will be raised before work on this project begins. Topsoil and stones will be added before work on this project begins. There will only be 5 zones
