Pittsylvania County School Board will receive sealed bids for the Pittsylvania County Schools Chatham Elementary School Sanitary Sewer Extension project (Spec #: 24-25/009). The sewer extension includes approximately 460 linear feet of 8" sewer and 920 linear feet of 6" sewer along SR 9323 Chatham Elementary Lane and the cleaning and removal of two existing septic tanks. The name, address, and license number of the Bidder shall also be clearly marked on the envelope. Bids may be delivered to the physical address of 39 Bank Street SE, Chatham, VA 24531, or mailed to P.O. Box 232, Chatham, VA 24531. Project Owner is not responsible for Bids received after Bid Due Date and Time. Question Deadline 03/21/2025 at 5:00 PM ET All questions and clarifications must be submitted in writing to be reviewed and addressed in an Addendum. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder, payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Amount with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, shall be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days subsequent to the receipt of bids without written consent of the Owner.
