The project will fully renovate rooms 301, 302, 304, 306, 307, 308, 309, 312, 314, 315, 316, 319 to create student study spaces, a wellness room, and six staff offices, and a Gender Inclusive Restroom 313 at Rockwell. The work includes demolition of existing partitions and doors, ceiling assemblies, lighting fixtures and controls, floor coverings and base, and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire alarm systems. Renovations include new and relocated partitions, suspended ceiling grid, lighting and controls, paint, carpet, VCT tile, wall base, and custom cabinetry and sink. The suite entry/exit doors will be reoriented to swing in the path of travel. The mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire alarm will be altered to support the new floor plan. Renovation to the Gender Inclusive Restroom include removal and replacement of non-ADA compliant restroom accessories, wall tile replacement, patch and paint and door in-swing adjustments. Exterior work at the third-floor corridor includes lighting upgrades, deck waterproofing repairs, and painting. The total square footage of areas to be renovated is ~2,772 SF.
